The health policy research area aims to explore healthcare policy and health-related policies in the UAE. It addresses the policy implications, needs, and challenges related to the provision of health services in accordance with the UAE National Agenda.

Current and planned research in this area includes:

  • Evaluating Dubai hospitals and physicians
  • UAE health policymaking
  • UAE e-health privacy laws and policy
  • UAE health professionals' policy involvement in maternal and child health
