Ethics Checklist for MBRSG Research Projects
The Ethics Checklist (F-RES-101) is an essential form designed to ensure that all research projects conducted under the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) adhere to the highest ethical standards. It helps researchers determine whether their proposed work involves ethical considerations such as human participation, sensitive data, or potential psychological risks.
Student Application for Research Clearance
This form is used to evaluate research proposals that involve human participants, the collection of sensitive data, or require approval from external organizations. It assists the MBRSG Research Ethics Committee in reviewing project details, research design, and data collection and storage procedures to ensure the protection of participants’ privacy and confidentiality. All students are required to submit this form to ensure that their research projects adhere to the school’s ethical research standards.
Book Request Form
The Library Book Request Form allows students, faculty, and staff to suggest new books or resources for inclusion in Library’s collection. It supports the continuous development of the library’s holdings to meet the academic and research needs of the MBRSG community.
Article Request Services
The Article Request Form allows students, faculty, and staff of the School to request journal articles, research papers, or other academic publications that are not currently available in the MBRSG Library collection. This service supports research and learning by helping users obtain essential materials from external databases or partner institutions. To request an article, please provide complete bibliographic details such as the article title, author, journal name, publication year, and DOI or URL (if available).
Transcript Request Services
This service allows students and alumni of the School to obtain official copies of their academic transcripts. Transcripts provide a verified record of completed courses, grades earned, and qualifications awarded. Students can request either digital or printed copies through this service. In most cases, requests are processed by the Registrar’s Office on the same day.
Notification for Mitigating Circumstances
This service allows students to formally report any serious, unforeseen, and unavoidable situations that may have negatively affected their academic performance or their ability to meet assessment deadlines. Examples of mitigating circumstances include illness, personal injury, family emergencies, or other significant personal issues. Students must provide supporting evidence (such as a medical certificate or official documentation) when submitting this form. All submissions are reviewed in confidence to ensure that fair consideration is given to each student’s situation.
Post-Examination Dissertation Submission
This service allows graduating students to officially submit the final, approved version of their dissertation to the Library. Students are required to submit both: A PDF copy of the final approved dissertation, and a hardbound copy for the library archives. This submission marks the completion of the dissertation process and ensures that the student’s work is formally recorded, preserved, and made accessible as part of the MBRSG dissertation collection.
To Whom it May Concern Letters
This service provides an official letter issued by the school to verify a student’s enrollment, academic status, or other relevant details upon request. Students may use this letter to meet formal requirements where proof of affiliation with the school is needed.
Grade Appeal Service
The Grade Appeal Service allows students to formally request a review or re-marking of their exams and assessments. This service ensures fairness and transparency in the evaluation process by providing students with a formal channel to address grading concerns through an official grievance procedure.
