As part of the ongoing strategic collaboration between the Financial Audit Authority Academy in Dubai and the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, the two entities announced the launch of the third cohort of the Professional Diploma – Government Auditor program. This program is among the leading professional initiatives in the field of government auditing and aims to prepare a distinguished group of qualified national talents to serve within internal audit units across Dubai Government entities.
The launch of this cohort builds on the success of the first two batches. The second batch saw the participation of 26 individuals from 16 government entities who underwent a comprehensive training journey, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application. Participants also received tailored support to pursue internationally recognized professional certifications in auditing.
This year’s batch extends across 90 training days, featuring academic lectures alongside intensive practical audit sessions conducted within actual government work environments.
On this occasion, H.E. Abdulrahman Al Hareb, Director General of the Financial Audit Authority in Dubai, stated:
"We are proud to launch the third cohort of the ‘Professional Diploma – Government Auditor’ program, building on the strong momentum of previous rounds and continuing to develop national talent capable of supporting government audit functions in line with Dubai’s vision."
In his remarks at the previous graduation ceremony, he had emphasized:
"This program enriches knowledge, fosters the exchange of scientific and practical expertise, and enhances opportunities to obtain professional certifications. At its core, it aims to empower Emirati talent within internal audit departments across government entities."
H.E. Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, said: “Launching this third cycle of our ‘Professional Diploma – Government Auditor’ programme forms part of our continued efforts to train highly qualified national talent, capable of making significant contributions towards enhancing financial governance and government performance, in line with our wise leadership’s vision to achieve the highest levels of transparency and integrity in government operations.”

“The programme goes beyond imparting academic knowledge onto its participants, focusing on the practical application of best practices in auditing and financial control,” H.E. Al Marri continued. “This enables graduates to play an active role in protecting public funds and strengthening confidence in the performance of government institutions. We look forward to continuing this successful collaboration with the Financial Audit Authority in Dubai to train more qualified professionals to lead auditing and financial oversight operations and ensure excellence.”
