Dubai Smart Cities Forum
Dubai Smart Cities Forum is a series of thought leadership sessions organized by Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in cooperation with Dubai Smart Cities Initiative. The initiative convenes experts, decision-makers and leaders from both public and private institutions in a creative and stimulating environment to share experiences and best practices, debate challenges and work collaboratively towards achieving Dubai’s smart city ambitions.
The forum’s sessions highlight local and global smart city trends in sectors such as management, manpower and urban development, services, infrastructure and planning.
Envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Smart City project is being carefully implemented in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government’s initiative to host the Dubai Smart Cities Forum takes root in its conviction that combining global expertise with local capabilities can help Dubai establish solid foundations of a smart city model. Articulating this priority, the forum has since inception in 2014 become a point of reference to public and private organizations in the UAE and beyond in relation to smart cities
