Associate Researcher

Zeid Qiblawi is a Research Associate at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, where he focuses on economic policy, cultural heritage, and sustainable development. Previously, he served as a Program Officer at USAID and has consulted on development projects and policy analysis in the Middle East, Central Africa, and the U.S.

 

He holds a master’s degree in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics, where his thesis examined water security in the Levant. He is a co-author of the 2026 Arab SDG Index and the 2026 Economic Diversification Index and has published policy analyses with research institutes such as the Johns Hopkins SAIS Review of International Affairs.
