Gilles Fayad is a fellow of practice in Safe & Responsible Artificial Intelligence at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government. He has more than twenty years’ experience in new products development and ecosystem management worldwide, for companies like Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, and IEEE.  In Dubai, he was ecosystem and technology director for Qualcomm focusing on smart technologies and cities. He contributed to the development of the IEEE CertifAIEd program and the partnership with MBRSG and continues to support MBRSG in capacity building for safe, trusted, and responsible AI.

Gilles is currently Director of Development at AI Commons where he collaborates with the IEEE and OECD, and GPAI on various initiatives in Responsible AI and Information Integrity in the age of AI. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum Safe Systems and Technologies Working Group.
