Cyrus is at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai where he leads the AI Safety initiative; Global Risk and AI Safety Preparedness (GRASP).  He is a also a member at the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) where he co--leads the Safety and Assurance of Generative AI (SAFE) project and is a member of the OECD Expert Group on AI. 
 
He is General Partner at 1infinity Ventures, a global fund investing in Responsible AI. He is a co-founder of Stability AI a leading global generative AI platform which he exited to launch infinitio.ai, the first marketplace for generative AI resources on a blockchain.
 
Cyrus co-founded The Future Society—a 501(c)3 incubated at Harvard Kennedy School and chaired its AI Initiative—where he engaged early with global stakeholders to study and shape the governance of AI. He served as an Advisor to the UAE Minister of Artificial Intelligence at the Prime Minister’s Office, where he led the Global Governance of AI Roundtables at the World Government Summit. 

He is a Board member of Intelmatix, Board of the Voting Rights Brigade and a Mentor at the Foresight Institute. Cyrus was educated at Sciences Po Paris, where he was a Lecturer in International Security, holds a MA in Defense (Hons) from Paris II University and a MPA from Harvard University.
