HH Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Honours 177 Leaders in MBRSG 2017 Graduation Ceremony
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government Organized its 2017 graduation ceremony, in which 177 leaders graduated: 25 received their Master Degree in Public Administration, while 152 completed MBRSG’s Executive Education Leadership programmes from various government entities including; Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), Dubai Municipality, Dubai Public Prosecution, Ministry of Climate Change and the Environment, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and The Central Administration for Human Resources Development in Ajman.
H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, handed the graduates their certificates, congratulating them on their success before concluding the ceremony with a commemorative photo. H.E Humaid Mohammed Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at MBRSG, attended the graduation ceremony, along with MBRSG’s Executive President H.E. Dr Ali Bin Saba Al Marri, Dean Prof. Raed Awamleh, and several MBRSG faculty members.
In his opening speech, H.E. Al Qatami thanked H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for attending the ceremony, adding: “Our programmes and courses seek to instil some the characteristics of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his vision, principles and leadership in our graduates. Our course material draws from the values and concepts that H.H. upholds, and that have become benchmarks for decision makers, strategists and researchers.”
Thanking H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid for honouring the School and its graduates with his presence, H.E. Al Marri said: “Since its launch in 2005, the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government has served as an advanced Pan-Arab research and scientific platform, implementing the UAE leadership’s aspirations to empower highly qualified leaders and realise the goals of the UAE Vision 2021. Today’s graduates join the ranks of the previous MBRSG alumni, enriching the country’s human capital and helping build the knowledge economy.”
“As we honour and recognise another generation of young leaders today,” H.E. added, “we look forward to their accomplishments and carry on with our mission to promote scientific and academic research in the field of government administration, laying the foundation for success-driven institutions and empowering the local and regional workforce to build the future.”
