20 February 25 The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has launched the first edition of the Research Award 2025, in collaboration with four leading universities; namely: Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, and Rochester Institute of Technology – Dubai.

The initiative supports scientific research and innovation in HR by encouraging university students and Dubai Government employees to explore topics such as employee wellbeing, HR management, policy development, and lifelong learning. Research submissions are open from February to August 2025, with winners announced in October. The top winner will receive AED 25,000, a certificate, a recognition shield, and publication in a scientific journal.
DGHR emphasized its commitment to fostering innovation and supporting creative talent to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of Dubai’s government workforce.
