Dubai GDRFA and MBRSG Launch Nudgethon Dubai to Advance Behavioral Innovation in Government
DGRFA in collaboration with the MBRSG, launched “Nudgethon Dubai”, the first initiative of the new Dubai Behavioral Insights Lab, aimed at applying behavioral science to enhance government policies and services.
During the opening ceremony, His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA emphasized that the initiative reflects a practical model of collaboration between government entities and knowledge institutions, highlighting the importance of turning challenges into innovative, human-centered solutions through behavioral tools, design thinking, and agile approaches. H.E. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, MBRSG’s Board of Trustees Chairman stressed that the Nudgethon embodies a forward-looking vision for integrating knowledge, experimentation, and design methodologies to strengthen government readiness and empower national talent with advanced behavioral and analytical skills. H.E. Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, MBRSG’s Executive President underlined the role of MBRSG in supporting government capability-building and translating research into impactful applied practice, reinforcing the School’s mission to drive evidence-based policymaking.
The program serves as a live innovation lab, combining training, experimentation, and real-world application over 100 days, enabling multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, evidence-based solutions that support Dubai’s leadership in future-oriented, human-centered governance.
