Research Fellow (Non-Resident)

Dr. Suhair Hamouri is a marketing strategist, academic, and leadership development expert with over 30 years of experience across industry, higher education, and consultancy. A lifelong resident of the United Arab Emirates, she brings deep contextual understanding of the region’s institutional and economic landscape, alongside international exposure in the United States and Canada.

She began her career in multinational pharmaceutical companies, including Eli Lilly and MSD, before transitioning into academia, where she held academic and administrative roles. She has taught MBA and executive-level programs in innovation and entrepreneurship, marketing strategy, and strategic leadership, and has contributed to academic program development and institutional accreditation initiatives. Her work has been recognized through multiple teaching and achievement awards.

Her research interests include supply chain risk management, strategic decision-making models, relationship marketing in the pharmaceutical sector, and competitive branding in AI-enabled environments.

She is the author of Clicks, Leads, and Strategy Feeds: A Transformative Approach to Winning the Digital Marketing Game, which presents an integrated approach linking strategy, analytics, and execution in digital contexts. She also holds an executive certificate in Leadership in Digital Transformation from Singapore.

Her current work focuses on AI-driven institutional transformation, leadership development, and enhancing organizational performance and competitiveness, with particular emphasis on aligning private-sector discipline with public-sector governance priorities in the Middle East and North America.
