Anita Akkawi, an alumna of the 2010 MPA class who conducted extensive research on child abuse in the UAE as part of her student work at DSG, was interviewed on Dubai One by "Emirates 24/7" in which she spoke on Child Protection on 8 June 2012.  Ms. Akkawi was quoted in four articles published by the National in the past few months. 

During her Dubai One Interview, Ms. Akkawi highlighted the growing attention towards child protection and abuse matters in the UAE in recent years. However, she argued that efforts seem to be insufficient to address all the challenges holistically.
