Arab Leadership and Government Excellence
Introduction
The Arab Leadership and Government Excellence Program aims to prepare experienced and promising Arab and Emarati leaders to handle the challenges of contemporary government, enhance institutional performance, and contribute to government performance, through focusing on a number of key topics via integrated, interactive training curricula that promotes the exchange of experience amongst participating Arab leaders and exposes them to UAE government performance best practices.
The program runs over one week, focusing on a different module each week to allow participants the option of enrolling in one or both modules.
The program also includes a small conference covering best government practices in the United Arab Emirates.
Program Objectives
- Enrich the knowledge of Arab and Emarati public sector leaders.
- Enhance the operational capacity of participants, and enable effective application of best practices in the fields of leadership, strategic management and public policy.
- Familiarize participants with the challenges and opportunities offered by smart government and smart cities.
- Build government networking relations, and empower positive communication between central leadership and senior government within the Arab public sector.
- Allow access to global best practices in general and UAE public institution practices in particular with the aim of identifying success factors and opportunities for development.
