MBRSG signs a new MoU with Federal Authority for Human Resources

The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with the Federal Authority for Human Resources which comes as part of the Government Knowledge Portal Initiative "Ma'arif," which is considered one of the Authority’s strategic initiatives, and the first of its kind at the level of the Federal Government. The aim is to prepare a list of the best providers of training services in the UAE and make it available to the ministries and federal entities, so that they can take advantage of training programs at competitive prices.
 
In his opening speech at the launching ceremony of the Government Knowledge Portal "Ma'arif, HE Humaid Al Qatami stressed on the importance of training the the Federal Government employees so that they can keep up with change, as well as upgrade their skills in order to achieve their personal and organizational goals, and meet the aspirations of the wise leadership of the UAE represented by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. He thanked all the preferred training providers for the UAE Federal Government, as well as the parties which collaborated in the success of the initiative of the Government Knowledge Portal of "Ma'arif", especially those that have offered free training programs, and special discounts to the federal government employees.
 
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources; HE Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President, Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government; HE Dr Issa Al Bastaki, President, University of Dubai, and dozens of officials and representatives of ministries and federal authorities, in addition to representatives of training and educational institutions. 
 
In the same context, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, represented by the Director-General HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, signed two memoranda of understanding on "Ma’arif" initiative with Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, represented by HE Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of the School, and University of Dubai, represented by HE Dr Issa Al Bastaki, President of the University, under which the employees of ministries and federal entities will be offered special discounts to attend their educational and training programs.
 
HE Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government asserted that the School seeks to contribute to enhancing the institutional performance and development of human resource in the public sector as well as the implementation of general policies across the UAE and the Arab region. He expressed his pleasure to cooperate with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, due to the leading role undertaken by the Authority in strengthening cooperation between ministries and federal entities, universities and leading educational institutions in the country, with the aim of matching between education outcomes and the labor market needs in the government sector, which contributes to improving the skills and competencies of the federal government employees.
 
Al Marri explained that the commitment of the School to upgrading the level of public service and governance, requires continued efforts to contribute to training and developing the skills of government employees through various programs offered by the School in management and leadership, strategic planning, quality and organizational excellence, development of government policies and other executive education programs ,in addition to master's program in public administration, which aims to enable future leaders in the United Arab Emirates and the region to meet the challenges and take advantage of available opportunities as officials in the government sector.
 
Ms. Aisha Thani, Senior Manager of Public Relations & Events at Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government presented an overview of the School, the vision, mission and objectives, in addition to the most important initiatives and achievements at the local and regional levels, and disciplines offered to its students. She also explained in detail the main offers and discounts provided to the Federal Government employees under the memorandum of understanding signed with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
It should be noted that Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government has recently announced a 50% discount to the staff of ministries and federal entities on the Master’s program in public administration, which offers high-quality academic education in multiple disciplines, to enable aspiring leaders to acquire qualifications and skills for excellence in public administration, and achievement of their goals efficiently.
